Job Description – CAD Technician
The Role
A vacancy has arisen within a well known and respected international power solutions organisation for an experienced CAD Technician based in their UK Tyne and Wear offices.
Responsibilities
Provide specific CAD support to the engineering team during the design of CHP power project developments and also to offer CAD and document control support to other areas within the company when required during the ongoing development of projects.
Responsibilities
• To produce mechanical, electrical and power biased layout drawings in line with company and industry standards.
• To produce mechanical and electrical schematic diagrams in line with company and industry standards.
• To control and manipulate third party drawings to facilitate project control and management.
• To be able to operate an extranet document management system in the control of project drawings.
• Pipe and Pump sizing
Key Skills
Ideally 5 years CAD experience within a similar structured environment
Experience of producing multi discipline drawings to the required standard within a given timescale.
Ideally hold an ONC qualification in building services or equivalent.
You must have a Mechanical and Electrical background
The Company
The company are an international electric power and heating service organisation. Working within two specific fields one building and producing power systems and projects the other offering in-house power and heating solutions to large usage organisations.
The Rewards
The salary range is within £25,000 to £35,000 and is therefore negotiable based on experience, with an additional package.
Referral Scheme £200
